This policy explains the information processed when you visit Brainliest, use practice tools, create an account, or contact us, and how to manage your choices.
Brainliest processes account and profile details, sign-in information, saved questions, practice answers, progress, and subscription status to provide the service. If you submit a contact request, we store the name, email address, and message you provide. Speaking tasks may process recordings you choose to submit. Technical requests can include an IP address, device and browser information, and security or error logs.
We use this information to operate accounts and practice sessions, show feedback and progress, handle support requests, manage subscriptions, and protect the service. When you request AI-assisted feedback, the relevant question, response, or recording may be sent to the configured AI or speech service. Do not include sensitive personal information in practice responses.
Each time you sign in we record the sign-in method, the time, your IP address, your device and browser type, and an approximate location (city, region and country) that our hosting provider derives from the IP address; we do not use GPS or precise location. While you are signed in and actively using the site, your browser periodically reports how long the page was in use so we can measure session time; it stops when the tab is hidden or you have been inactive for several minutes, and it records no page content or keystrokes. Authorised Brainliest staff use these records to secure accounts, investigate suspicious sign-ins, provide support, and understand how the service is used. You can review the devices signed in to your account, with their approximate location, in account settings.
Use account settings to manage available profile and preference controls. Contact Brainliest through the Contact page to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information or to ask about a privacy concern. We may need to verify that a request concerns your account. Security, legal, and billing obligations can require some records to be retained.
Hosting, database, authentication, email, analytics, payment, and AI providers process information needed for their functions. Stripe handles payment details when you use subscription checkout; Brainliest receives the subscription information needed to manage access. Providers may process data in countries other than your own. This site does not promise a particular storage region or an individual data-processing agreement.
Brainliest uses Google Analytics to understand site usage. Analytics cookies are subject to your saved choice. Google Consent Mode can still send limited, cookieless measurement signals when analytics storage is denied; choosing Essentials only does not mean that no request reaches Google. Google may receive information about a page visit, browser, and device as part of measurement. Manage optional-cookie choices on our Cookie policy page.
Google AdSense ownership verification is present, but ad serving is currently disabled. If advertising is enabled in the future, Google and other advertising partners may place and read cookies, use web beacons, and process IP addresses or other identifiers to deliver and measure ads. Personalised advertising may use information from visits to this and other sites. We will update the consent experience before enabling ad serving; the existing cookie controls are not a Google-certified advertising consent platform.
Account, practice, and support data is retained for operating the service and handling relevant security, billing, and legal needs. This page does not promise a fixed deletion date for every record. We update these disclosures when our data practices change; the update date below identifies the current published version.
