- This is one continuous Series 87 regulatory Part II form, not separately timed Function 4 and Function 5 sections. Official function counts are exact. - Navigation
- Brainliest permits answering, skipping, flagging, revisiting, and changing any of the 55 responses until final submission. This complete-form review behavior is a disclosed practice control; the cited public outline does not publish a more granular operational navigation contract.
- Break policy
- No scheduled break is published. An unscheduled restroom break is permitted under test-center rules, but the 105-minute question clock continues and the candidate must complete the security procedure to leave and re-enter.

- Closed book. Candidates may not bring reference materials. At a test center, the administrator supplies a whiteboard or dry-erase board and a basic electronic calculator; accommodated remote delivery instead supplies the approved on-screen calculator and electronic scratchpad.
